Re: Food & Venue Shoot 


Here's a bit of a list of what I usually try to capture, but let me know if there are any specific shots you need.

  • Venue wide shots
  • Venue details shots
  • Highlight menu
  • - A range of best selling menu items on a table to be shot as a group. Think colourful items that show off your range of options - have something for everyone. About 6-8 dishes is usually best.
  • - Solo shot of each dish (with drink if needed)
  • - Group of dishes. 
  • Staff portraits
  • Kitchen
  • Coffee shots
  • Customer interaction

Another idea I thought would be good for you guys is some takeaway burgers / drinks shots on the sand with a beach towel and sunnies. Do you have any other ideas? 


Photo Style

We will keep the shots 'light and bright', and try to bring an element of fun/beach vibe to the photos. Take a look at my food website and portfolio. It's not 100% up to date, but gives you an idea of my style and past experience. 


Talent / Hand Models

I'll need you to arrange a few people to be involved in the shoot. Mainly just for hands, but they need to be comfortable having face featured in a few shots also. 


Tanned and beachy Byron look is best I reckon. Jewelry and some chilled tattoos look good, but make sure everyone has clean hands and nails. White tops, beach bags, sunglasses. Best if we can have two girls, and a guy. Just two girls also work well.

Be good to come up to the cafe before the shoot day, and stake out the space too.

Have you got a date in mind for the shoot? I'm free on any Thursday or Friday the whole of March (Except 7th/8th), and the start of April would also work.
